The first Overland Park Chick-in Waffle location opened on June 4, 2025, at 135th and Antioch. Operation hours are from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant was spotless and atmospheric, with nice music and friendly staff. The prices seemed relatively high without any specials, but their menu was vast, filled with a plethora of diverse food options.
Plain Fries ($3.99) – 7/10: These fries are good and crispy with a nice seasoning, but they could benefit from a bit more salt to truly elevate their flavor.

Strawberry Dragon Fruit Tea ($3.49) – 8/10: This tea is refreshing and well-balanced, effortlessly hitting the right notes without being overly sweet.

Loaded Queso Fries ($13.49) – 6/10: While the fries are seasoned nicely, the chicken on top is dry, and the queso tastes a bit artificial and cheap. It misses the mark when it comes to satisfying flavors.

Chick in Maple ($11.49)- 6/10: The depiction is appealing, and the waffle is cooked just right, but the chicken itself is unfortunately dry and under-seasoned, leaving something to be desired.

Mac and Cheese ($3.99) 4/10: This dish fell flat for me. The noodles were overcooked, and it lacked the cheesy flavor I was hoping for. In addition, there was a bit too much seasoning only made it more disappointing.
