No. 6 Huskies to play No. 3 Jr. Blues in 6A state quarterfinal game
The varsity baseball team will play No. 3 Washburn Rural on Thursday May 23 at 5:45 p.m. at Hoglund Stadium in Lawrence.

The No. 6 Blue Valley Northwest Huskies will play the No. 3 Washburn Rural Junior Blues in the 6A state quarterfinal game today at 5:45 p.m. at Hoglund Stadium in Lawrence on the University of Kansas campus. The Huskies reached the quarterfinals by defeating the Blue Valley Tigers in their regional final game, 7-6, improving to 16-6 on the season. The winner of the BVNW and WRHS quarterfinal game will move on to the 6A state semifinals and will play the winner of the other quarterfinal game between No. 2 Lawrence Free State (19-3) and No. 7 Olathe East (15-7).

would be great to announce the “all conference” teams for softball. We had 5 players make the EKL all conference teams.
