Gallery: Huskies upset Owls in overtime, 2-1

No. 14 Blue Valley Northwest defeated No. 3 Olathe West, 2-1, in overtime on Tuesday May 14 at the CBAC. The win improves the Huskies record to 7-9-1 on the season and they advance to play No. 6 Shawnee Mission South for a spot in the state competition on Thursday May 16.

Grace Miller is a junior photographer and writer for “The Express.” She’s commonly found walking around with her friends during halftime, although she’s also involved in organizations like Mental Health Board and Model UN. Outside of school, she likes volunteering at Children’s Mercy, going shopping with her friends and playing with her dog.
