The BVNW volleyball team celebrated senior night for eight members of their squad. The ceremony took place before the game, and each senior was honored individually and presented with a gift from the team. BVNW went on to defeat SMN, 2-0.

During the first match the Huskies quickly took the lead. Head coach Molly Haggerty said that she could really tell that her players wanted to do well for their seniors tonight. Throughout the game, the seniors contributed to the Huskies 25-5 win with killer spikes. Seniors Scout Watson and Sydney Walls fed the Indians a never-ending supply of fast-paced hits.

“[The seniors] have been a huge part of our success this season,” said Haggerty. “We are really going to miss them.”

The second set was very much like the first set with hard spikes and amazing digs coming from the Huskies. Senior Grace Maize said the whole team played with  pride, especially the seniors because of it being senior night. The Huskies finished their second set with a score of 25-9.

“We went out and dominated,” Maize said. “It was a great feeling because it was so sentimental.”
