The BVNW Huskies beat St. Thomas Aquinas 2-1 tonight, advancing them in the Top Dawg Tournament.

The first goal from the Huskies was made by junior Trevor Kerns with 13:23 left in the second half, tying up the game. With no other goals from either team in regulation, the game went into a 10 minute overtime. With 7:40 left in overtime, senior Sam Taylor scored, ending the game and leaving the Huskies as the winners with the score 2-1.

“The boys adjusted at the half,” head coach Rick Pribyl said. “We got a rhythm going and that made all the difference in the world.”
