Dazzlers compete at Miss Kansas Dance Festival

BVNW Dazzlers received eight awards this weekend at the Miss Kansas Dance Festival at Olathe South.

The BVNW Dazzlers dance team competed this past weekend at the Miss Kansas Dance Festival at Olathe South. The team competed with an ensemble routine, two solos and four group dances.

Senior Claire Kampschroeder, juniors Claire Ross and Maggie Pyle and sophomore Caroline Kampschroeder received the Winner’s Circle Small Ensemble Award. Juniors Claire Ross and Maggie Pyle also received a Solo Winner’s Circle Award.

The team as a whole received the Judges Precision Award for Jazz and Hip Hop and the Judges Technique Award for Contemporary Jazz. They also won the Sweepstakes Award and Shining Star Award for their high scores, and received Best in Contest Small Team for being one of the top 3 scoring small teams at the competition.
