Representatives from the Blue Valley Education Foundation presented a check to math and engineering teacher Karen Stohlmann Henderson today. The $595 grant, Electronic Engineering Portfolios, will give the Principles of Engineering (POE) classes at BVNW funding for a color scanner. Major projects, papers and recommendation letters can be created with this technology for use in student application portfolios. Stohlmann filled out an application for this grant and was informed of the award in one of her POE classes.
