BVNW principal Amy Murphy announced to the faculty this morning that associate principal David Stubblefield would not be returning to BVNW for the coming school year. Instead, he will be transferring to BVN as the new principal.

Stubblefield said he found out that he would be the new principal at BVN on Monday. The announcement was made at a staff meeting in the library.

“[BVNW] has been my home and it will be tough leaving,” Stubblefield said. “I have some great friendships and relationships with students and staff here.”

Stubblefield said that it will be tough leaving BVNW but he has worked at BVN before. He said it will be a tremendous opportunity to be a principal at BVN.

“[BVNW] is a great school,” Stubblefield said. “[BVNW] will be fine without Stubblefield. [BVN] has some excellent traditions and they have tremendous staff and an awesome community over there and I am anxious to get back and get to know them well.”
