Girls golf

As the 2016 girls golf season approaches, the team looks to improve throughout the season. Head coach Ken Thomas said he is very excited about what the season has in store.

“We have a good mixture of younger players and older players,” Thomas said. “A number of young players on the freshman level and sophomore level are very quickly improving and might see some varsity time by the end of the year.”

Senior Grace Strohl said she is looking forward to being a senior leader and interacting with fellow teammates.

“[I’m looking forward to] the team aspect because we have a lot more players this year,” Strohl said. “I’m excited to see how that works.”

With the expansion of the EKL, Thomas said the competition will be tougher than in prior years.

“[We’re] trying to end up top five in the EKL,” Thomas said.
