Word of the day: Ostentatious

Every year during Spirit Week, hundreds of students dress ostentatiously to try to win the “Best Dressed” award.
Billboards along the sides of highways are purposefully ostentatious to successfully advertise products and companies.
It’s unrealistic how far some people will go just to be ostentatious around the country.
