Lola Shipman is a senior photographer and graphic designer for “The Express” and BVNWnews social media platforms. As a third year staff member, she is the Social Media Editor as well. Outside of Newspaper, most of her time is spent with her golden retriever, Harpo. Shipman enjoys walks with Harpo and visits to her Lake of the Ozarks house with friends and family.

Rachel Sarff is a senior at Blue Valley Northwest and the Managing Photo Editor for "The Express" this year. This is her second year on staff and she is excited to spend another year taking photos. Photography has been a passion of hers since last summer and she loves to continue growing in her craft. Her favorite memory on staff has been traveling to Washington D.C. last fall for the national journalism convention. Rachel’s hobbies include being a plant mom, hanging out with friends and doing hair. She owns a small business doing hair for special events and dreams of one day owning a hair salon.

Emma Johnson is a senior and the Editor-In-Chief for “The Express.” For this upcoming year, Emma is most looking forward to navigating how to run a newsroom amidst everything and getting to know everyone on staff. In her freetime, Emma loves to do anything involving music and spending time with her friends and family. Emma also scrolls on tiktok for an unreasonable amount of time and enjoys going out to eat and online shopping; which is unfortunate for her bank account. In the future Emma intends to major in Communications and minor in Political Science.

 

Lauren Kline is a senior and a second year photographer on staff. This is her fourth year on the golf team, where she is a co-captain. She loves watching "Gossip Girl" and "The Bachelor." Lauren plans on going to Northern Arizona University. She also loves hanging out with friends and traveling. Lauren is so excited for the year and to capture it for “The Express!”
