Over the past year, various dance fads have swept Vine and Twitter by storm. Exceptionally popular dances are the Nae Nae, the Whip and the Quan. Learn how to execute these dances from BVNW's resident dance expert, senior Arman Alhosseini.

Watch Me

Watch Me by Silentó

  1. Begin with a fist so your fingers are toward your face
  2. Turn and extend your arm while stomping the opposite foot
  3. Hold your arm out and bend your knees
  4. Lift your arm up, palm facing forward
  5. Sway side to side while walking in place
  6. Repeat steps 1-3 while the song says “Now watch me Whip”
  7. Repeat steps 4-5 while the song says “Now watch me Nae Nae”

Nasty Freestyle

  1. When the music says “first,” hold up one finger
  2. Clap once under each leg with the beat
  3. Flick your wrist up
  4. Hit the Whip
  5. Nae Nae

Hit the Quan

Hit the Quan by iHeart Memphis

  1. Bend down and wipe the tops of your feet
  2. Stand up and trace a belt at your waist
  3. Turn 90 degrees and run in place
  4. Turn back to the front and fan yourself
  5. Throw an invisible flag into the distance
  6. Salute
  7. Repeat step 3
  8. Pretend to shoot a Nerf gun
  9. Repeat step 3
  10. Hit the Whip
  11. Sway your hips and arms side to side to the beat of the song. Continue while the song says “Hit the Quan”
