Adria Heinauer is a senior at BVNW and a third-year writer for The Express. Outside of newspaper, Adria is involved in girls’ soccer, NHS, and leads Rise Christian Club. In her free time, Adria enjoys hanging out with friends, going for runs, playing soccer and babysitting. Adria is excited for another great year writing for The Express.

A major injury puts an end to an athlete's season. Junior Max Moser, defensive back on the varsity football team, fractured the head of his ulna and dislocated his elbow during the first playoff game this season. "We work so hard to be able to go out there and play to the best of our ability and to not be able to play is frustrating," Max said. "I wasn't even that mad about my injury, I’m more mad at the fact that I can’t play."
