No. 2 Huskies to take on No. 1 Blues in state championship game

The boys varsity basketball team will take on the Washburn Rural Blues in the 6A state championship game Saturday March 9 at the Charles Koch Arena.

The boys varsity basketball team advances to face Washburn Rural in the 6A state championship on March 9 at the Charles Koch Arena.

The No. 2 Blue Valley Northwest Huskies will play the No. 1 Washburn Rural Blues in the 6A state championship game Saturday at 6:15 p.m. at the Charles Koch Arena in Wichita. The Huskies reached the championship by defeating Shawnee Mission South, 61-57, improving to 22-2 on the season. The Blues defeated No. 5 Wichita Southeast, 55-47, improving to 23-1, completing the championship match up.
