Marching band storms the halls
To kick off the 2013 football season, the BVNW marching band took to the halls at the end of first hour this morning to play the fight song throughout the school. This annual tradition gives students a chance to preview what the marching band will be doing during games and at festivals, and also pumps up the student body for the first game.
According to Selzer, he loves storming the halls because of the school spirit. He said he loves that people get excited about it and how much fun it is. Selzer said he is looking forward to the band’s festivals, the parade performance, and playing at games.
“So far it’s been a great year,” Selzer said. “And I can’t find any reason to expect more of the same.”
