Hridya Kakumanu
Sophomore Hridya Kakumanu was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her mom and dad, both born and raised in India, immigrated to the United States 19 and 17 years ago, respectively. Her mom moved to the U.S. in search of better job opportunities, and her dad moved to the U.S. to finish his medical residency. Kakumanu said in India, her great-grandmother had five children, most of whom now live in the U.S....

Senior Alishka Rojas-Addari’s parents were born, raised and married in Venezuela.
