BVNW Varsity football defeated BVN in the Susan G. Komen Pink Out game Thursday night. BVNW won 43-20. Seniors Reed Coda and Austin Moses scored two touchdowns during the game.

Although BVN made a comeback during the second quarter, BVNW was able to hold the lead. Senior Luke Wells said the team was motivated by the possibility to compete in the playoffs. He said they adjusted their defensive strategy to take the victory.

“We really dominated in the second half,” Wells said. “We buckled down and determined if we wanted to play in November, the playoffs, then we needed to really take it to them.”
